My Human Spirit

I have bachelor of Law and Master in Taxation degrees. I am a CPA and have been an international tax advisor for over 17 years. I have been in the local church since I was a young child.

One thing that has impressed me most about the local church is the talk about the human spirit. The Bible says that God is Spirit. We must worship Him in spirit (John 4:24). If we don't use this organ to contact God within, we will not be able to contact Him. This is like we use eyes to see. If we don't open our eyes, we cannot see.

Even though I know that I should use my spirit to contact God within, many times I try to contact God in my mind. However, there are times that I actually contact God within by using my spirit. I found out that the best way to contact God is to call on His name. His name is Wonderful. He is rich to whoever calls Him (Romans 10:12).

When I contact God within, I have an inward sense of peace. The outward situation may not be peaceful but deep within there is peace. I am glad that I can use my human spirit to contact God.
